Elf on the shelf ideas with bible verses. This is how we make our elf on the shelf a messenger for Jesus!
Against The Grain
We have been doing elf on the shelf for years now. My original problem with elf on the shelf was telling my kids that an elf was watching them to be sure they are good. I want to teach my kids that Jesus is watching so be good all year! So, I use my elf on the shelf as a messenger for Jesus instead of Santa! The elf comes in December because we want to celebrate the birth of Jesus all month long. This is how I decided to integrate the elf on the shelf into our family. I really wanted to set up these adorable elf on the shelf scenes but I had to find a way to do it our way! Here are pictures of some of our past scenes and the bible verses that went with them!
This year he brought his sister! Matthew 5:16: Show off your good works!!
Genesis 3:1-6 & Romans 5:12: There is a serpent in the woods, watch out!
The camp fire was made with balls of paper, tootsie rolls and construction paper.
This is a great one for when you forget to do your elf until right before you wake up the kids!
Super healthy breakfast for the kids on this morning!
This is another great one for one of those days you forget!
This is another good one for the elf returns. He has his luggage with him and he is settling in with a fresh shave!
I love the Charlie Brown the doctor is in booth so now the elf is in! Another great one for a returning elf!
The toys were tired of him winning all the races and making a mess!
I love this one!
Well, they tried!
I’ve lost some pictures that I would love to add to this list. If I find them I will update the post! Happy elfing!
