This is a great starter blanket! It is an easy knit blanket using garter or knit stitches! You can knit it one square at a time. It has basic knit stitches, a simple increase and a simple decrease. You can do as many colors as you want, as many squares as you want and use any size needles you want!
As long as you use the same type of yarn and the same size knitting needles, the possibilities are endless with this blanket. Once you are done knitting all of the diagonal squares, attached them together using an invisible mattress stitch.
Done!
